The Personal Executive Assistant provides administrative support to a busy executive. Duties include managing calendars, scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and handling travel arrangements. The Personal Executive Assistant must be highly organized and efficient, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must also be able to work independently and take initiative when needed.

Personal Executive Assistant Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain executive’s schedule and assist with planning appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries
  • Coordinate projects and compile information and reports as requested
  • Prepare correspondence on behalf of the executive
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff member
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Research and compile data for special projects as needed

  • To provide highlevel administrative support to executives and other senior staff.
  • To manage calendars, coordinate travel arrangements, and handle correspondence on behalf of executives and other senior staff.
  • To prepare meeting materials and take minutes at executive meetings.
  • To track projects and deadlines, and follow up with relevant parties as needed to ensure progress is being made.
  • To conduct research as requested by executives or other senior staff, and compile results in a concise format.
  • To maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job, including handling sensitive information with discretion.

Personal Executive Assistant Job Skills & Qualifications Needed

  • A bachelor’s degree is often required for this position, although some employers may prefer candidates with an associate degree or a higher level of education.
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
