The Junior Project Manager will work with the Senior Project Manager to plan and execute projects. They will be responsible for creating project timelines, communicating with project stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. They will also be responsible for identifying risks and issues associated with projects and developing mitigation plans.

Junior Project Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and information technology.
  • Confer with managers to establish project objectives, policies, procedures and schedules.
  • Direct or participate in feasibility studies to analyze project requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Formulate budgets and approve expenditures for research projects.
  • Oversee preparation of reports required by regulatory agencies governing projects.
  • Coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and objectives
