X-Ray Technician Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using Xray equipment.
- Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to obtain desired images.
- Select technical factors such as kilovoltage, current, time, and distance to produce optimal images.
- Develop and process radiographs (xrays).
- Assist physicians in performing interventional procedures such as arthrography, myelography, and bronchography.
- Maintain equipment and quality control standards.
