Treasury Analyst Job Description Template

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing the organization's cash position and investments, as well as providing analysis of financial data to support decision-making. Treasury Analyst Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions
  • Negotiate financing terms and conditions with banks and other financial institutions
  • Monitor cash balances and forecast future cash needs
  • Invest surplus cash in shortterm investments
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the treasury function
  • Manage foreign exchange risk by entering into hedging transactions
  • Manage interest rate risk by entering into interest rate swaps
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends that could impact the treasury function
