Accounts Assistant Job Description Template

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the accounts department.   • To provide accurate and timely financial information to support the decisionmaking process.

  • To prepare VAT returns in accordance with HMRC regulations.
  • To assist in the preparation of management accounts, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
  • To provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, scanning and data entry tasks.
