The Service Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support to the Service Department. Duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing work orders, and maintaining customer files. The Service Clerk must be able to multitask and have excellent customer service skills.

Service Clerk Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide them with assistance
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as policies regarding payment and exchanges
  • Operate cash register and process transactions
  • Answer customer questions or refer them to appropriate personnel for assistance
  • Ensure that the sales floor is clean and organized at all times
  • Restock shelves as needed
