The School Psychologist will work with students, teachers, and families to identify psychological issues that may be impacting academic success. He or she will administer assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide therapy as needed. The School Psychologist will also collaborate with school staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

School Psychologist Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a consultant to school personnel on issues related to student learning and behavior
  • Conduct psychological evaluations of students to identify learning disabilities, emotional problems, and other barriers to success in school
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to students, families, and school staff
