The role of an Examiner is to provide expert testimony in legal proceedings regarding the value of property. An Examiner may also be asked to appraise property for tax or insurance purposes.

Examiner Job Responsibilities

  • Examine and test products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Identify defects and deviations from specifications.
  • Investigate root causes of quality problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
  • Train other inspectors in inspection techniques and procedures.

Objectives

  • To provide an accurate and objective assessment of the examination papers.
  • To ensure that the marking of the papers is in accordance with the agreed standards.
  • To identify any areas where improvements can be made in the examination process.
  • To make recommendations to the Examination Board on how to improve future examinations.
