Respiratory Care Practitioner Job Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with breathing disorders
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as spirometry, to assess patients' lung function
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with breathing disorders, including the use of mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Keep detailed records of patients' respiratory care treatments and progress
