Pharmacist Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
- A pharmacist typically needs a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program. They must also be licensed, which requires passing two exams. Some states also require additional training or certification in specific areas, such as nuclear pharmacy or hospice care.
