Montessori Teacher Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain a safe, clean and orderly environment in which children can learn and play
  • Plan and implement lessons and activities in line with the Montessori philosophy, using approved materials
  • Observe each child's progress and keep accurate records
  • Work closely with parents/carers to support their child's development
  • Liaise with other members of staff, such as the school administrator, to ensure the smooth running of the classroom
  • Attend training courses and meetings as required
