The Leasing Consultant greets prospects, qualifies them for an apartment, gives tours of the community, and processes applications and move-ins. They must maintain a thorough knowledge of the competition and market conditions.

Leasing Consultant Job Responsibilities

  • Greeting potential tenants and giving them tours of the property
  • Answering questions about the property, the lease, and the surrounding area
  • Working with potential tenants to fill out applications and paperwork
  • Collecting application fees and security deposits
  • Coordinating move-ins and move-outs
  • Inspecting units before and after tenants move in/out
  • Handling maintenance requests and concerns from tenants
