The Facilitator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of meetings, workshops and other events. They will prepare materials, coordinate logistics and facilitate communication between participants. The Facilitator will create a positive environment that encourages active participation and constructive dialogue.

Facilitator Job Responsibilities

  • Planning and preparing for facilitation sessions in advance, in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Creating a safe and supportive environment for facilitation sessions.
  • Acting as a neutral facilitator during facilitation sessions, ensuring that all voices are heard and that everyone is able to contribute equally.
  • Summarising key points and decisions made during facilitation sessions, and documenting these for followup purposes.
