A Catering Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Catering Manager in the day-to-day running of the catering operation. This includes assisting with food preparation, service, and clean-up. The Catering Assistant will also be responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Catering Assistant Job Responsibilities

  • Arrive to work on time and in uniform.
  • Set up for events by putting out place settings, decor, and food items.
  • Serve guests during the event, refilling drinks and plates as needed.
  • Clean up after the event is over, washing dishes, taking out trash, and restocking supplies.
