• A behavior analyst is a professional who uses the principles of behavior to help people change their behavior. This can be done through the use of reinforcement, punishment, or other techniques. Behavior analysts also work with people who have developmental disabilities or mental health issues.
• To be a behavior analyst, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or another related field. You will also need to complete a master's degree in behavior analysis. Some states require that you be certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
