The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. The Bartender will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area and keeping track of inventory.

  • To keep bar area clean and organized throughout the shift
  • To resolve any customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner
  • To maintain knowledge of drink recipes and preparation methods
  • To monitor liquor inventory and place orders as needed

Bartender Job Skills & Qualifications Needed

  • Some basic qualifications that most bartenders should possess are a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, and basic math skills. In addition, bartenders should be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects. Most employers will provide onthe-job training, but it is beneficial if applicants have previous experience working in a bar or restaurant.
