The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Property Manager. Duties include but are not limited to answering phones, data entry, preparing reports, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and assisting with tenant relations. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be detail oriented, and able to work independently.

Assistant Property Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the property manager in all aspects of running the property, including but not limited to: marketing, leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Help develop and implement policies and procedures related to the operation of the property.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents and the property manager, addressing concerns and issues as they arise.
  • Assist in showings of available units and giving tours to prospective residents.
  • Handle moveins and move-outs, ensuring that all paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Process rent payments and maintain accurate financial records for the property.
