The VMware Engineer is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the VMware virtualization platform. This includes vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and other related products. The engineer will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the virtualization environment. In addition, the engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise and providing support to users as needed.

  • The skills and qualifications needed for the role of VMware Engineer include:
  • A minimum of four years’ experience working with VMware vSphere in a production environment.
  • Experience configuring and managing VMware vCenter Server.
  • Experience with VMware ESXi server administration.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
