The Security Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining the security architecture for the organization. This includes defining the security requirements, designing the security solutions, and ensuring that the security solutions are implemented correctly. The Security Architect also works with other architects to ensure that the overall architecture of the organization is secure. In addition, the Security Architect provides guidance to developers on how to design and implement secure systems.

Security Architect Job Skills & Qualifications Needed

  • A minimum of five years experience in information security, with at least three years in a leadership role
  • Experience in designing and implementing security solutions across a variety of platforms and environments
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and network security protocols
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
