The Retirement Specialist will be responsible for providing support to clients during the retirement planning process. They will work with clients to develop a retirement plan that meets their financial needs and objectives. The Specialist will also provide guidance on investment options, Social Security benefits, and other retirement-related topics. In addition, the Retirement Specialist will monitor client portfolios and make recommendations for changes as needed.

Retirement Specialist Job Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on retirement planning, including Social Security and pension benefits, 401(k)s, IRAs, and annuities.
  • Analyze client's financial situation and recommend appropriate retirement savings and investment strategies.
  • Help clients develop a retirement budget and plan for how to best use their retirement income.
  • Monitor client's progress towards their retirement goals and make adjustments to their plans as needed.
  • Stay upto-date on changes in the law that could impact retirees, such as tax law changes or new Social Security regulations.
