The Martial Arts Instructor will be responsible for teaching students of all ages the techniques and principles of martial arts. They will need to be able to adapt their methods to suit the needs of each individual student and be able to maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere in the class. The instructor will also need to keep up with their own training in order to be a role model for their students.

Martial Arts Instructor Job Responsibilities

  • Teach martial arts classes to students of all ages and levels
  • Develop and teach lesson plans for each class
  • Lead students through warm up exercises and drills
  • Demonstrate techniques for students to follow along
  • Provide feedback and corrections to students as needed
  • Answer questions from students about techniques, styles, etc.
  • Enforce safety rules during class
