Objectives

- To empty wastebaskets, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, wash windowsills and ledges, shampoo carpets, mop floors, wash walls and woodwork as directed.
- To keep storage areas neat and orderly.
- Report any necessary repairs or maintenance to supervisor immediately.
- May be responsible for laundry duties such as sorting, washing, drying, folding and ironing linen according to established procedures
Maid Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
- There are no specific skills or qualifications needed to be a maid. However, maids typically have experience cleaning homes and businesses and possess basic cleaning supplies. Some maids may also have experience caring for children or pets.
