The Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation and setup of computer hardware, software, and networking equipment. They will work with customers to ensure that all systems are installed and configured correctly. The Installation Technician will also provide training on how to use new hardware and software.

Installation Technician Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the installation of company products at customer sites.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of job.
  • Assemble and install equipment according to specifications using hand tools and power tools.
  • Inspect installed systems to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance levels are maintained.
  • Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keep accurate records of all installations for future reference and warranty purposes

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
