The Flooring Installer will be responsible for the installation of all types of flooring in both residential and commercial properties. They will measure, cut, and install all types of flooring including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet. The Flooring Installer will also be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged flooring.

Flooring Installer Job Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and measure rooms to calculate materials needed
  • Cut and fit flooring material according to blueprint specifications
  • Apply adhesives to flooring base and position material on top
  • Use tools such as hammers, chisels, and power saws to trim flooring material to size
  • Install molding or other finishes around the perimeter of the room
