Domestic Engineer Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure cleanliness of residential communities, including but not limited to units, common areas, and recreational amenities
  • Perform monthly unit inspections, conducting repairs or replacements as necessary, including ordering supplies and equipment
  • Prepare daily work orders; coordinate repairs with maintenance department
  • Prepare monthly charge reports; communicate monthly to accounting department
  • Provide reports to homeowners or owners on rental and capital account status
  • Motivate, train, and develop staff for superior performance
  • Manage special events, including birthday parties

Domestic Engineer Skills Needed

  • 2+ years of experience as domestic engineer
  • Knowledge of domestic engineering practices; ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and engineering reports
  • Knowledge of design concepts and methods, and ability to implement them
