Carpet Installer Job Responsibilities

  • Remove old carpet and dispose of it properly
  • Inspect the floor for any damage and make repairs as necessary
  • Measure the room(s) to be carpeted and calculate the amount of material needed
  • Install new carpet, making sure it is stretched tight and free of wrinkles or bubbles
  • Trim excess carpet from edges and around obstacles
