Architect Job Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements, prepare cost estimates, and develop design concepts, including space planning, structural systems, finishes, and fixtures
  • Conduct pre construction meetings to bid and build out entire system
  • Assist in building functional specifications for system components, furniture, and fixtures
  • Research and source products, materials, and equipment
  • Manage the creation, development, and maintenance of project documents and databases
  • Carve out scope of work, budget, and schedules
  • Meet with clients and end users throughout the project, including at design conceptualization and pre construction meetings
  • Produce design development drawings and construction documents
  • Maintain and update project databases, including construction schedules, budget, and cost estimates
