The Kitchen Staff’s primary job is to prepare food for the patients and staff at the two facilities. The Kitchen Staff is also responsible for cleaning kitchen equipment, making sure there is enough food on hand, and answering questions from patients and staff. The Kitchen Staff must have excellent communication skills and be able to work quickly. The Kitchen Staff works closely with the Dietary Aides, Cafeteria Staff, and Servers.

Kitchen Staff Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals, beverages, and snacks for scheduled events
  • Clean and restock tableware, utensils, glassware, and flatware
  • Pay attention to guest needs and anticipating any needs that may arise during meal service
  • Maintain inventory of food and beverages by placing orders, reviewing invoices, and coordinating deliveries
  • Train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff
  • Operate cash drawer and credit card machine
  • Assist hosts and hostesses as needed

Kitchen Staff Skills Needed
