The Production Coordinator is responsible for the organization and coordination of production activities. They work closely with the Producer, Director, and other members of the production team to ensure that all aspects of the production are running smoothly and on schedule. The Production Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining communication between the various departments within the production company, as well as keeping track of deadlines and budget.

Production Coordinator Job Skills & Qualifications Needed

  • In order to be a Production Coordinator, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You must be able to multitask and be organized in order to keep track of various production elements. Additionally, a Production Coordinator should have some experience working in the entertainment industry, preferably in television or film. A college degree is not required for this position, but could be helpful.
